The Largest Arbitration-Only Publication
Substack is the main focus , and most of our viewership, but the highest conviction ideas also go here. Being the only arbitration focused equity research firm making their research public (started last October), our reader base is highly concentrated, and 100% arbitration investors - there’s no other reason to pay us any attention. This gives us an edge over larger generalist firms, where the analysis often goes unnoticed, and is diluted by their scale anyway - if you wanted to read about e.g. an investment in the mining industry, you would think to go to a specialist first. If you search up any of our covered companies, we are usually the first to come up. . Our proportionally larger amount of time devoted to arbitrations allows us to understand them better than the market, and our research is intended to help clear things up.
Alongside publishing analysis, we are growing the publication by doing daily notes (like tweets), interacting with other publications, and introducing the idea of arbitration investing to the market, e.g. our most recent piece was on why it’s not as risky as the market prices imply. We began making our research public 3 months ago, and have had c.25k unique viewers, with a c.400% compounded monthly views growth since. The majority of our subscribers come from sharing / in app engagement, as the algorithm is designed to be.
We also send the writeups to our network of investors, most of whom are either fund managers or non-arbitration investors with a large media following, in case they take an interest and share it around. We appreciate arbitrations attract a small crowd, but this is thanks to a flurry of misconceptions, which we are aiming to clear up. They are, however, gaining attraction with a long runway ahead, and we are currently playing a fairly consequential role in that thanks to our readership and lack of competition.
